Premature Elimination

Fewer than one hundred thousands vote cast in Iowa total.
Probably 500,000 votes cast tonight.
And the Primary may be fundamentally over if you look at its impact.

Already Biden and Dodd have given up the Show.

That’s with about ½ of 1% of all votes to be cast.

The Primaries tend to eliminate people early on without cause.

Yet, if Obama wins again, the pressure will be inordinately on Hillary to do something.

I think personally that her only strategy was to take out negative advertising on Obama; otherwise, she’s not even touching him!....

Now, she’s going to have to plot a whole new strategy; although perhaps being a challenger is oftentimes easier than being the front runner….

I think people have already written off Giuliani for his policy of not making an effort until they got to the fire wall of Florida!

It’s a strategy built on what? Who knows. Giuliani spent money in New Hampshire but he didn’t follow it up. It was almost as if he couldn’t be bothered even though it represented a good audience for his views.

If Edwards wins the number two spot, which could happen, he’ll stay alive—at least through South Carolina.

If Romney doesn’t pull a win out of New Hampshire after all the money he’s spent, it’s going to be difficult trying to convince voters to vote for him.

In the republican field, it looks like the candidate who was dead at the end of the year, has found new life. And he may represent the life vest that republicans are seeking.

Huckabee won’t do well in New Hampshire, but don’t rule him out in South Carolina.

Ron Paul also has a small army running around trying to beat the bushes for votes; but I think a recent report on his scandalous newsletter will have supporters heading for the hills…

All in all, much can happen.

Leads can be reversed.

And the Primary on the Fifth can change just about everything when you consider the sheer number of votes to be cast.

So keep the faith and do the numbers.

And may the best man (or woman) win!
