Fallon’s Crash and Burn Scenario!....
Last year, Admiral Fannon was the greatest thing since white bread.
That was why they made him Commander of the Central Command, a kind of redundant way to say that he was the “top dog.” And it was a title that was well deserved.
Anyone in the White House could have told you that.
Now, he is toast.
Why?
It wasn’t for the lack of heroism.
His record shows he had plenty of that.
And it wasn’t for a lack of experience. He that to spare.
He also had a splendid educational background.
So it wasn’t any of those things.
What he didn’t have was the suppleness to know when to bend over.
He was his own man.
An oddity in any Bush job.
He didn’t take the crap and play the “Step and Fetch it” role assigned by the big Mucky Mucks in DC….
He was no good at that.
And if the WH Crowd was so smart, they should have known that he was not going to be their rubber ducky.
As we know, Bush only likes appointments that fall into two categories:
Those who he trusts and are on the same wave length as he and those who are comatose.
Fannon is neither.
He is a pro with solid credentials.
We all know that inferior weak people act like bullies.
Bush is a bully.
The other day, Fallon gave an interview printed in Esquire.
It said that an attack on Iran would be an ill-advised policy.
He got his marching orders almost immediately afterwards.
Now, he joins a growing force of generals and leading officers who took retirement rather than play a liars game.
So much for independent thinking when it comes to the sacrifice of our troops.
But here’s the rub: An arbitrary president who won’t listen to the people or the advice of his best military advisors is not acting in the best interests of the country.
The punishment is something called Impeachment; an appropriate remedy if we could find those who will advance it..
As of now, those with the power are lying low!
