A PETITITON TO BOYCOTT ALL
PRODUCTS FROM CHINA…

It’s time to say enough is enough!

The evidence is in. It is clear that the Chinese have little intention of protecting us against products that are exported that by and large are misrepresented, mislabeled and potentially deadly.

Our own government has failed in its obligation to test and assure the safety and health of imported products. Products imported from China are only tested rarely despite the fact that China has the worst history of meeting its products claims; yet our government insists on taking their word for it.

The bottom line is that the arrangement between China and America is one-sided. We buy on good faith and are disappointed time and time again.

It’s time to stand up and exercise our rights as free people..

The management of a Committee for Positive Change
is calling for all concerned American citizens to boycott the products of China.

Clearly, the Chinese are not concerned for American well-being. They lie on their labels and they ship poisons camouflaged as edible products for both pets and people.
But that is not all.

With increasing regularity, the Chinese have shipped products that don’t meet the criteria they claim. Last month, for example, more than 200 products alone were rejected. Failure rates on individual products also exceed acceptable levels for all products.

Here are just two examples:

Just today, baby bibs manufactured in China were recalled because they contained sixteen times the levels of lead deemed safe.

Last month, a similar recall was extended again to toys that contained dangerous lead, lead that could cause permanent injury to young people.

It is clear that we cannot depend on the Chinese to monitor their own products. They are simply out to make as much money as possible on American consumers without being honest about the product’s quality or safety\, a condition that we can no longer continue to countenance.

It is time, therefore, that we show our displeasure since the government refuses to respond to our persistent requests, by rejecting their products wholesale until we have some guarantees that the products we buy from China are safe, healthy and have value.

I hope you will join with me and spread this message to everyone in America and demand of your representative that we get tough with our suppliers.

Thank you for your interest and concern.
