They Gave All They Could Give. And In Thanks, You Punish Them? Not On My Watch!
So, now the beans have been spilled.
Walter Reed has been singled out for being one of those places you wouldn't put your dog in to be cared for. They simply do not care about their wards.
Now, that this has been revealed to the entire world, you would think that the hospital staff, the military and the Washington Bureaucrats would be jumping through hoops, "to make it all better."
Well, judging from what we learned, you'd be wrong!
The fact is that not only do we neglect our Veterans, we bully them the same way America bullies the world in the age of the sick and the twisted. We make them now stand for inspection. And we make demands of them that didn't exist before the whistle-blowers told their tale.
If this is not the most bizarre thing I have ever heard of, then I don't know what is. We should be treating these young people like heroes.
Most have suffered wounds to their brains, their limbs that are life-altering. They will of necessity have to change their plans for a full life and for the most part be dependent on government care. But the record shows that for all they have given, they are being treated no better than detritus and that is shocking and must end.
Our heroes deserve better!
And now after the truth is revealed; we are going to punish them?
No way, JOse.
I am now truly angry. If the government will not reverse this incredulous policy of double-hits on our Veterans, we shall storm the bloody gates and take matters into ourown hands.
Yes, you have pushed the buttons now....but they are all the wrong buttons.
When will you learn that you don't beat the "good guys" into obedience; you treat them with kindness and respect; otherwise, you qualify as the scum of the Earth.
And we will not let this stand!
