Just Imagine what Luther could have done with today's technology...

"The Luther Project"

Five hundred years ago the world was changed by a charismatic Catholic who felt that the system had gone wrong; that selling of passes to Heaven was more than he could accept from his religion so he got a pencil and paper and wrote a list of grievances that he posted on a local church.

Imagine considering our technology, if we could do something like that today?

And hence the Luther Project.

It is the idea of the Luther Project that we shine a spotlight on what has gone wrong with this administration; that we sit down and draft up a list, either individually or collectively, of all of our grievances with a target of listing 100 grievances! The success of this depends to a great extent on the involvement of the grass-roots...

Part II: To supplement our list of grievances, we would post the privileges and obligations of a Democratic system for all to see...

And Part III: We would post the names of all the representatives and officials in the particular area along with a listing of the media and how to reach the newspapers, TV stations, cable outlets, etc.

Then we take the above and post it all around within our districts. Anyone who sees the list would also be encouraged to reproduce it and spread it around even further!

Such an action could change the world!

Why do I say that?

If only 1% of the public responds, that would be 10 x the number of those who typically respond to a high priority request for a petition or an appeal that we are using for a bench mark..

The thing is that when only 25,000- or 50,000 activists respond to a survey or petition, our leaders listen.

If we could get 500,000 people to respond to our list of grievances, our leaders will drop everything else. Guaranteed!

Secondly, imagine what will happen if the people circulate this list to the media--and it will. When the media understands that we, the people, are tapping into an inexorable force that will not be denied, you can be sure that the media will respond.

Here is what we know:

We know that the free ride for the present administration is over!

We have seen that as a result of what's happened in New Orleans. The Media realizes that the public is more together than its ever been as does those who consider themselves Moderate Republicans... That's the reason they are scattering in all directions to tap into other sources of support unaffiliated with this government!...

The lies have been exposed! ANd many of the
Republican leaders in the Congress and in the Executive face either charges, indictments or investigations...

The public's serious doubts as to the behavior of this administration to represent the best interests of the people translates into important clout for our message!

It would be a mistake not to exert as much leverage as possible
to get the story out now that we have the opportunity to effectuate change!

It may be our one best change to change the landscape.
