Increasingly, I discover that it is the low-level things that slip in under the radar that you have to watch for trends; not the stuff that they get up and shout about to the compliant media.. When it gets printed on page 38 in the Gray Lady on a Saturday, you know that’s something you should look carefully at –especially if the article is a year over-due…

Take this for instance. The other day, at the Pentagon, it turns out that there was a reshuffling of key staffers. Seemingly, no big deal. In fact, it was only a small article buried in the last section but in retrospect, it was the kind of article that tells us what the future holds and how it will impact our own survival plans—the kind of stuff that the savvy look out for…

Consider what precipitated the shake-up: One, current conditions in Iraq; and, two, Party loyalties. As you might imagine, the guys more loyal to Rumsfeld and Cheney, the ober fuhrers of this administration, moved up the proverbial ladder and guess what? The others moved down. Who moved down? The one’s who have been more aggressive in raising questions about what is being done have just moved a step closer to the door. One might be inclined to ask, “What have we here?”

The short unabridged answer is that what you are seeing is new Intelligent Design. Intelligent Design that suggests survival is all about sucking hind tit and playing the corporate game. It hints broadly that the closer you are to the new Intelligent Design guidelines, the better your chances of survival until a Tsunami knocks DC off the map!
And this makes sense if you now understand who whispers into the Intelligent Designers Ear.

In the age of Hubris, we are at the apogee. Intelligent Design planned out by the self-appointed Intelligent Designer supersedes all criticism and all discussion. “It is my way; or the highway!” It is card-owner’s rules: Like suggesting that if you are playing the game, there is no configuration of cards can beat the house. And all player hands are forfeit. Something to think about when the Fat Lady sings….
