By way of explanation. Okay, I was playing Word Games...
"La Ultima Lasgrima de los Estados Unidos" was a take-off on
the Last Days of the Moors after they were eclipsed by
the Crusaders in Southern Spain. What I was suggesting was that
there is nothing new under the sun. That Boabdil, the last Moorish King,
was about to lose it all. But before we knock the Moors, let's not forget
that the Moors brought the bibliotecha, the library, and Algebra to Alhambra.
Before that,the priests couldn't even work with numbers because they had no
concept of "zero." Nor should we forget that Iraq figured large in
the progress made in uniting Europe and bringing order to the land
with the translations of Roman texts by the Arabs and Jews who
lived side by side in an environment of peace and understanding.
