The "PEACE PRESIDENT..."

I was watching and listening to the interview of bush on ABC news ...and my wife was watching from the kitchen...

After one vapid observation after another and no sounds coming from me the curiosity must have gotten the better of her. "Are you listening to this, dear," she sweetly intoned. I managed, "yes, my sweet." And then there was a pregnant pause. Finally, she couldn't resist it any longer: "How come you haven't thrown anything at the TV set yet, dear?" "I'm too busy..." "Trying to keep my head from shaking off..." This is after Bush said to the interviewer, Vargas, that he wanted his legacy to be that of a "Peace president..."

Can you imagine the chutzpah of this guy: "A PEACE PRESIDENT..." Clearly, no one has still punctured that bubble that surrounds the man...No one has made it clear that it's time for a reality check ! In a world where technology exists that can reach anywhere in the world at the speed of electrons, it is ironic to think that never have we had a government that is so secretive and so out of the loop.
A peace president who has labeled Iran and North Korea "Evil Empires," a man who has talked about "crusades" terminology that was never misunderstood by Islamists in the Middle East, a man who had War on the drawing board before he went to the UN; a man who has turned Sunni and Shiite around the Middle East against America--a man who has added fuel to the flames every single opportunity he's had--a divider rather than the healer he had promised...
And when asked what's important to him, he said his family; never mentioning the American people; and in that context, I think he was dead honest; he's never cared for the American people; he is strictly a limited vision genetic anomoly that can't seem to do anything more than an earthworm by functioning impulsively to stimuli without thought or curiosity.

And this is what the machines have put into office!!!

In the face of fraud, lies and deception, we wait for the next election!

Woe to this country; and God save our world!

No one else will!

Les, I think you have a pretty good handle on the changes now going on in this country. We are hearing more and more Republicans in Congress stating, "I support the President, but not on this issue." In the past they were blindly following the Pied Piper of death and destruction.

I wonder if anyone has put together a score board detailing death and destruction caused by bin Laden and death and destruction directly caused by George W Bush. I think Bush would win the numbers game hands down. If the numbers are correct from the news, more people have died because of Bush's policies alone in the past two months than in all of 9/11.
