The Cartoon Debate

Moslems when they debate
Tend to show a lot of hate
They are right
And you are wrong!
And they will prove it
For a Song…

They berate our views
And denigrate our news
They consider our ways corrosive
While they’d prefer
To play with explosives!

Nontheless, who can equivocate
When their objective is to decimate
Those who don’t agree
With their view of history…

Admittedly, it’s a hard call
To acknowledge it all…
To accept their perspective
May be somewhat defective

For a religion cannot last
If its participants are central to the blast!
For these and other reasons,
It may not be the best of seasons
To take issue with illustrations
That hamper their relations!

Perhaps, it would be more
Encouraging still…
If progressive leadership
Showed a modicum of will

And instead of exacerbating
The current condition
The exercise of good sense
Formed the basis
Of their petition!
