"Americans need to be stimulated again...we are currently awash in bad ideas, negativity and the prospect of wars forever for nebulous reasons that are already deemed poorly thought or deceptive.Instead, what we truly need is the same kind of vision that Al Smith imparted to Franklin Roosevelt.

We need a revolution in thinking that will allow us to become enthused again--enthused about our prospects as a people, enthused about possibilities.

WE CAN DO THAT!

BUT WE NEED TO ATTRACT THOSE RARE PEOPLE WITH THE ABILITY TO SEE INTO THE FUTURE...THE FUTURISTS...WHO UNDERSTAND THAT WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO GO FORWARD AND STAY AS WE ARE.

WE DO NOT NEED MORE PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO CONDUCT WAR.
WE NEED PEOPLE WHO CAN DIALOGUE FOR PEACE.

We need a veritable crusade to carry us forward in each of the following areas...

MEDICINE
THE ENVIRONMENT
JOBS AND OPPORTUNITIES
EDUCATIONINVENTION AND TECHNOLOGY
ALTERNATIVE ENERGY
RECYCLABLES
HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT


AND, MOST IMPORTANT, WE NEED TO CULTIVATE THE KIND OF TALENT HERE AND ELSEWHERE WHO CAN EMBRACE THESE IDEAS, WHO CAN ENVISION A FUTURE OF PROMISE AND POTENTIAL AND WHO ARE WILLING TO MAKE THE NECESSARY LEVEL OF COMMITMENT.
